Luke 21:8 Pay close attention and do not be deceived. Because many shall come using my name, saying I am Christ and the judgment is near. Do Not go with them, Jesus says. v9 But when you hear of wars and commotions, Do Not be terrified. These things must happen first, but the end is not upon us yet.
Beloved, this is the hour that believers must pay attention. Do not allow yourselves to be drowned in the flood of distractions and deception that is in the world today. We are surrounded by oceans and seas of information, meant to distract you from the rivers of living water found in the simplicity of the gospel of Christ. The time has come that sound doctrine is not the popular thing (even amongst believers) and people are searching after a religion, teaching, preaching, mythologies and philosophies to stroke their fleshly desires. But you, stay sober-minded at all times (be aware)… 2Tim 4:3-5
Jesus tells us again in Luke 21 “Pay Attention”
Luke 21:34 Pay close attention, be very mindful of your actions and activities, just in case your hearts get burdened, weighted down with the indulgence and an overabundance of fleshly gratification, intoxication and anxieties of this life so that the day of desolation comes upon you suddenly and without expectation.
Brothers and sisters in Christ, pay attention today. Do Not be overcome with the distractions that are in the world today.
