Greetings ALL!

Yesterday, we discussed the beginnings and endings. A very simple but eye-opening, life changing truth. Today, we will take a look at the JOURNEY – the time between beginnings and endings. This is where it gets a little complicated.

Beginnings are simply the point in time which God’s plan and/or will is revealed.

Deut 4:29-31 (I recommend you read the whole chapter. Deut 5 gives us the Ten Commandments) - “But if from there (where?)* you will seek the LORD your God, you shall find HIM, if you seek HIM with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to the LORD your God, and shall be obedient unto HIS voice; (For the LORD your God is a merciful God;) HE will not forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which HE swore onto them.”

* where? – Deut 4:27 “And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and you shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.” - This is there

LIFE – The JOURNEY!

In between beginnings and endings, we must seek the LORD with all of our heart and soul to hear HIS instruction. HE will lead and guide and keep us in the land of the ungodly. If we seek HIM diligently, we will find HIM and HE will reward (Heb 11:6)

Heb 11:6 reads, “But without faith it is impossible to please HIM; for he that cometh to God must believe that HE IS, ** and that HE is a rewarder of them that diligently seek HIM.”

** HE IS – He Is what? We must not just believe that He Is God but also that He Is the ONE who has spoken and instructed us(this is faith). When we seek the LORD diligently with our heart and soul our reward is HE speaks to us. Without God’s instruction we are lost. But we are not lost, we are saved by His Spirit through Jesus. Thank you LORD.

Heb 10:38-39 reads, “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, MY SOUL shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; *** but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”

*** perdition – the spirit of man is saved by believing and confessing in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Now we have fellowship / access to God’s Spirit – the Holy Spirit. The soul of man is saved by dying out to our flesh and its earthly / worldly / carnal desires and lusts. God says His Soul will have no pleasure in the soul that pleasures himself in the desires of this world. The soul of man that longs for the world will suffer lost even unto perdition (utter lost). The spirit and soul salvation are not one and the same.

I know this is a lot to digest, but chew on it a while. You don’t have to swallow it whole. Remember, the journey is a series of cycles not one big unmanageable life. And “the cherry on top” is EMMANUEL / JESUS. God with us, the savior of our souls.

There is so much more treasure here. Keep digging and share your finds with us.

Until next time …

God bless you and keep you and make HIS face shine on you and be gracious to you and fill you with HIS peace.
