Scripture references:

–I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. (Rev 21:6)
–… the first and the last. (Rev 22:13)
The beginning.
Q. – What beginning?
A. – All beginnings.
Many students and believers of the Bible get distracted and caught up in the argument of the time of creation. The creation of man, the creation of earth and so on. This argument is a distraction from the life changing truth that is right in front of us. It is not when was the beginning, but rather WHO is the beginning.
Genesis declares there was a beginning. John’s gospel reveals how things began. While the book of Revelation reveals and declares WHO the beginning is.
The God of the Bible is the God of beginnings. All things begin with HIM. He gives or allows the beginning (life, existence) of all, ALL things. No thing begins without HIS permission. John 1:3 reveals, “All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.”
So what do we do with this truth?
We understand that in life (our earthly life in the flesh) God is LORD over all our beginnings and endings. The beginning is not a once in a lifetime event, but rather a series of cycles throughout life – beginning and ending, beginning and ending.
Knowing and understanding the beginnings and endings in life (people, places, assignments, etc.) makes navigating the journey less damaging to the soul. And we prosper even as our soul prospers. (3 John 1:2)
Rev 21:1-6 reads, “And I saw a new Heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they (you and I) shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them (you and I), and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (dead). And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, WRITE: for these words are true and faithful. And He said unto me, IT IS DONE. …I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
God is continuously making all things new in our lives. This is everlasting life. We can wait on this glorious day or we can receive the promise right now by faith. Allow the God of beginnings and endings to start some new things in your life and end some of the old dead things. What will happen, you say? You will look up and behold, He has made ALL THINGS NEW and every old things is dead and gone.
With the help of the HOLY SPIRIT we could did much deeper into this truth. Dig deeper and let us know what God reveals.
Until next time…
God bless you and keep you and make HIS face shine on you and be gracious to you and fill you with HIS peace.
